Our goal
We want every advisor and every member of their team to be able to use this site, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or captions.
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard most commonly used to judge whether a business website is accessible.
What we have done
Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly outlined. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach, so you can pass the navigation in one keystroke.
Text meets the contrast levels the guidelines ask for, against every background we use it on. Images carry text descriptions, decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers so they are not read aloud, and each page declares its language and has one main heading.
Pages are laid out with real landmarks, so a screen reader can jump straight to the navigation, the main content, or the footer. Menus announce whether they are open. If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations turn themselves off.
Where we fall short
Our booking tool is provided by Cal.com and runs inside our pages. We do not control its code, so parts of the booking screen may not meet the same standard. If it gives you trouble, email us and we will book the call for you by hand.
We test with automated tools and by using the site with a keyboard. We have not yet had the site reviewed by someone who uses a screen reader every day. We intend to.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you could not get to something you needed, email contact@axiacommunications.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and include the browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it.
We aim to reply within five business days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and give you the information another way in the meantime.
