Why the list is short.

It reads the whole article

Not just the headline. The angle comes from the story itself, which is why it says what to do about it rather than what happened.

Scored for advisors

Out of 10, on quality and on whether it is any use in front of a client. Anything under 7 is archived and never reaches the list.

Almost none survive

Over 100,000 headlines read so far. About 700 were worth keeping. The throwing away is the work, and it is why the list is short.

What you do with it.

When the market moves

The story is already scored and the angle is already written. Your client email goes out that afternoon, not the following week.

When nothing is happening

Evergreen stories do not expire. Trusts, Social Security, estate planning: the ones that carry a newsletter through a quiet week.

When you need to publish

The angle is written, so you are choosing which story to use, not working out what to say about it.

Where each one goes.

Every headline carries its destination, so the format is decided before you open it.

  • LinkedIn postThe week it runs
  • Market commentaryFor the newsletter
  • Blog postFor the ones that keep
  • Client emailWhen it will not wait
  • Client FAQThe question you get twice
  • Podcast segmentAlready outlined

How it works

The system does the reading. A person only makes the final call.

  1. Reads and scores

Every headline from 16 feeds gets a score out of 10 for quality and relevance to advisors.

  2. Writes the angle

Anything scoring 7 or higher gets instructions, a sentiment, and whether it is evergreen. Anything lower is archived.

  3. You decide

Nothing publishes itself. Everything waits for a person, and what comes out is a shortlist ready to become a post, an email, or a video.
